Silky Scraps Flower Power
September 18th, 2008 in sewing, fashion, gifts, holidays, galleryLike anyone who sews I have tons of scrap fabrics. I used a torn strip of duipioni silk for this flower, a hand-stitched wide zigzag down the length of it, gathered it up and added a few seed pearl beads. This is a great way to use up fabrics of all kinds. Great as a pin on a jacket or dress, or to decorate a place setting, or a wrapped gift.
