Silky Scraps Flower Power

Love it! no recommendations

Like anyone who sews I have tons of scrap fabrics. I used a torn strip of duipioni silk for this flower, a hand-stitched wide zigzag down the length of it, gathered it up and added a few seed pearl beads. This is a great way to use up fabrics of all kinds. Great as a pin on a jacket or dress, or to decorate a place setting, or a wrapped gift.

Sweet_Pea writes: Very lovely flower. And great use of scraps. We can always use more ideas to do with those leftovers. That flower looks so beautiful. Reminds me of a wedding dress.
