After a relaxing dinner and a good night's sleep, Carol and I stopped in at Checker Distributors to say 'hi' to our friends there.

Checker is a quilt industry distributor. Many of the products you find at your local quilt shop come through this building, including, patterns, books, notions, and even fabric.

Local shops can visit the showroom to shop for their store.

Louise offered her friendly greeting upon our arrival.

The warehouse is absolutely HUGE! Carol says, "I'd like to have a stash THIS BIG!"

After saying our farewells at Checker, we headed down the road again. As we approached Vanna following a brief rest stop in Ohio, this van rolled into the parking space next to us. The name on the side of the truck just begged the question, 'What's this?"

George and Juanita, of Theolgical Threads, sell vestments for religious organizations. They were headed to a trade show in Chicago. We had a good chat and exchanged business cards. Seems we all have some sort of common thread.
