I'm writing this post from my window seat on the airplane during my flight home from Portland. With so many quilt shop visits, new faces and friends, and pictures along the driving route from Syracuse to Portland, Oregon, it seems strange that I haven't offered any new updates since taking a short stroll around the city last Tuesday–and that I'll be back home in a few hours instead of a few days. But I have been very busy!!

First, I had to get the booth set up.

It doesn't look very exciting at first, does it?

The transition happens slowly, but surely. This reminds me a little of my sewing studio–messy, but things are starting to take shape!

After spending a good chunk of time setting up the booth on Wednesday, and almost the whole day on Thursday, it looks like I'm ready to meet and greet.

I love the fact that every shop has its own personality (including the restroom). I also love that there are books out there, like yours, dedicated to helping quilters manage their stashes. Mine is out of hand, and I truly am a material girl. Thanks for sharing your memories!

Loved reading about your experiences on your road trip! Your booth was gorgeous! Love the hummingbird banner - a good attention getter! I have your first book, can't wait to get a copy of your new book. Thanks for all you are doing!
