Blossom and Bumblebee Teacup Pincushion
comments (4) September 20th, 2008 in galleryA perky yellow ribbon blossom with a button center has a little button bumblebee flitting all around. The leaves are made from sage green grosgrain ribbon, and there is a little "bouque" of yellow rose buttons scattered across the top of this sweet teacup pincushion. The pincushion is made from a fuschia and white garden dot print, and I have embellished it with additional sheer pink twirling ribbons, and of course, a charming collection of beaded stick-pins. Perfect gift . . . . and so easy to make!
Another one of my tutorials that will encourage and inspire other crafters to "make it yourself." Quick, easy, and simple - and made from scraps of this 'n that and a tiny vintage teacup treasure.
