2) Using your seam ripper, gently rip out the horizontal seam (shown below) to remove one of the D-rings.
3) With a zipper foot, re-sew the tab back in place, directly on the original seam line.
4) Next, determine how long you want your keychain to be by folding the long end of the belt back on itself. Add about half an inch to this measurement to account for seam allowance.
5) Mark this distance and cut directly on the line.
