Simple Embellished Tea-Towel Curtains
September 26th, 2008 in sewing, patterns & designs, jewelry making, restyle, home decoratingI love bright, cheerful vintage fabric, and these reproduction-style Oregon state map tea towels caught my eye at the grocery store. I snapped up four of them and turned them into simple, fun cafe curtains with inexpensive clip-rings from the hardware store, and added a few embellishments for good measure, too -- buttons, charms, and sparkling sew-on rhinestones. The whole thing, including hanging them, took less than an hour, too. Read the whole tutorial at my blog, or take the project in your own direction by adding ribbon, lace, rick-rack, beads or any other embellishments to yours!
