Get on the LOVE BUS...FLOWER POWER pin
September 30th, 2008 in galleryMade by cutting fabric from a template and layering and folding the different pieces together. I secured the pieces by machine stitching the center with an "X" pattern. I snipped through some of the petals to create more dimension before rolling in the palms of my hands to create fraying effect and height to the embellishment. I added a vintage button with yarn in the center.
Add a felt square to the back and safety pin to make a brooch or pin to attach to purses, totes, or clothing.
Add a magnet with hot glue to the back to make one very hip refrig magnet.
This would be a great project to use repurposed fabric. You'll think twice before you throw an old shirt out now!!!
Easy and quick to make!!!
