Mega Scrappy Janes in the Flower Power Challenge
comments (0) September 30th, 2008 in gallery
Scrappy Jane's have arrived for the fall season here in Northern Minnesota USA. Bits and pieces and fabric swatches always seem so forlorn, too nice to toss, have always enjoyed running my hands though the "scrap bin" and well now many of those lovely bits and pieces have been upcycled into flowers. A bit raw and raggedy yet sturdy and so fun to wear.
These are the BIG ones, entirely hand cut. Shaped and detailed with machine free motion techniques. Many with vintage button centers. Some with bead centers.
Always fun. I wear them on a hat, but also great as a lapel pin.
