This collection brings back memories of my own childhood when I would plan with my friend, the horse ranch we would some day own. I never did come to own a ranch but I had a dream and everyone should have dreams.

I moved to Bozeman, Montana about 17 years ago so in a sense I am living on a huge ranch. There are horses every where in this beautiful valley.

So Dream on and have fun pretending. You can be a Rodeo Princess or the Notorious Western Town Sheriff. Yee Haw!

I'm originally from Montana too--raised in eastern Montana, around Jordan, but later lived in Missoula before moving to WA state 12 years ago. My husband's sister lives in Bozeman.

I've written a book, called Cowgirl Dreams, based on my grandmother who rode steers in MT rodeos during the 1920s. It's about to be published and I'm pretty excited about that.
