Comfort for the Cure
comments (0) October 9th, 2008 in galleryI made this pillow from my heart...I am a former C.N.A. and I worked for the Oncology Department at a local Hospital...and I have seen first hand, what this disease can do..not only to the idividual..but their families as well...I have held the hand of many women, who are devastated and full of fear...determination and peace...and I have witnessed the countless sessions of Chemo and Radiation...and I have watched them agonize for hours from the pain..of the "cure"...so I wanted to create something that would bring comfort...something to hold..cry into..be thrown...or simply bring cheer from the bright colors and patterns...I want these courageous women to know that they are not alone in their fight...and that someone will always be there for them...as they conquer this "enemy"...
