Here's a great, simple project from Sew Stylish: Gifts to Make. You may already have the materials in your crating kit.

To whet your gift-making appetite, here’s one of the many cool projects included in this issue, a ribbon cuff with button bangles. Mismatched buttons now have a home on a stylish arm. As seen in the photo above, a ribbon cuff is a great way to show off a collection of vintage buttons. Here’s how to make it:

1. Cut a wide ribbon to wrist length, plus one inch. Turn under, and stitch the ends.
2. Hand-sew a small button to one end of the cuff, and a corresponding loop of 1/4-inch-wide ribbon to the other end.
3. Then sew each vintage button on by hand. Overlap slightly.

This is a great way to display and enjoy my collection of vintage buttons. Thank you!

I was also wondering if anyone out there knows how to make button jewelry with just the buttons, sans the ribbon? I have seen it down, but never knew how it was done?
Thank you for your great ideas and help!
