I needed another project for the Fair this year.  I cut the body and sleeves out of a Levi Jacket, and saved the pockets.  With many trials and errors, probably 3 tear outs, I came up with the right combination of stitches to make the body and sleeves out of a beautiful wool yarn.  After sewing a loopy braid to what was left of the jacket, I attached my knitted pieces.  It looked a little plain, so the pockets were next, with a little adjustments they were added.
I had a brainstorm after I complete this one, why couldn't I use a levi vest instead?
So get out the scissors and yarn and try this one.
