Make a 3-D Fabric Butterfly Ring!
October 28th, 2008 in restyle, jewelry makingI saw this lovely crafty how-to that Bridget Benton posted on her blog, Eyes Aflame, recently—it's such a cool idea! She was making some decorative pieces for a quilt project and got a new idea...so she cut a colorful butterfly out of patterned fabric and created a charming three-dimensional embellishment, filled with wire and batting, for a striking ring. Check out her great tutorial and pictures for lots more detail.
Bridget also has plenty more tutorials on her blog and a very inspiring website with creative classes and workshops to browse, too!
