For a professional touch to all of your sewn projects, add a care and identification label. Insert a small square of nonwoven interfacing in the side seam of your garment. Write the pattern company’s name, pattern number, fiber content, and washing instructions on it using a fine-point permanent marker. Now if you just love the fit, you can find the same pattern again.

Bonus: You can trust your husband to do the laundry. Or, on second thought, maybe it’s best to do it yourself—you know how men hate to follow directions. :)
