Christmas is the time to look your jolly best and adorn yourself with all things beautiful. It's also the time to gift people and make everyone happy. What better way to make both these wonderful things happen than to make some lovely Christmas jewelry yourself.

That is exactly what we are going to be discussing in today's post. Read on to know how to make gorgeous Christmas jewelry that you can wear throughout the party season.

1) The Christmas Charms Bracelet

Let's begin with a much loved and popular piece of jewelry - the charm bracelet

What You Will Need:

  • Plastic coated wire
  • Pliers
  • Eye pins and head pins
  • Jump rings
  • Crimp beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Spacer beads
  • Hangers
  • A toggle with T-bar.
  • Santa Claus, Christmas tree, angel and any other pendant you like
  • Red and green glass pearls

Step1: Measure the circumference of your wrist and cut the plastic coated wire accordingly. Leave some extra wire while cutting to attach the T-bar later. Connect the wire to the toggle and then secure it with a crimp bead.

Step 2: Bring out the colorful beads now. Create a pattern of bead placement where you put two main beads between two spacer beads, which will be separated by a hanger. Once you have placed the beads, attach the T-bar to the end of the wire, and secure it with a crimp bead.

Step 3: Now start adding the head pins to the pearls. Once you know the required length to make a loop that links the hanger beads with the pliers, cut off the excess wire with the wire cutter. Now link the pendants to the hangers by the jump rings with the pliers.

Ta-da your Christmas charm bracelet is ready!!

2) The Festive Christmas Brooch

While you can flaunt your beautiful DIY charms bracelet, out next item is something that is all about Christmas- the festive Christmas Brooch.

What You Will Need:

  • Brooch iron pin backs
  • A couple of transparent bicone beads in red and green
  • A couple of rhinestone beads, though you will probably be needing just one
  • Silver plastic coated wire around 0.35 mm and a wire cutter.

Step 1: Begin by cutting a piece of wire of about 15 cm or extra to start making the bow.

Step 2: Add 3 red beads to the thread and then surround it with three green beads.

Step 3: Get the brass rhinestone bead and push the wire through it in a cross. Leave one end of the wire loose and take the other end to make a bow.

Step 4: After the bow is made, take the loose end of the wire and pass it through the rhinestone bead. Voila! you will have two loose ends coming out of the rhinestone bead.

Step 5: For the bow tail now, use 5 to 6 green beads and one red bead. Secure the beads on the tail, attach two red beads to each tail and then take the excess wire and pass it through all the beads you have added to the tail, till they come out of the other end. Now tie them together.

Step 6: Stick the brooch pin back to the bow and make sure you stick the tied part to the brooch pin.

Cut off the excess wire.

And you have your very Christmassy Brooch ready!

3) Crystal Christmas Tree Earrings

This is one piece of jewelry that you can wear all year long. Let's learn how to make beautiful Christmas tree earrings.

What You Will Need:

  • The Tools: pliers, wire cutters, head pins, French hook ear wire.
  • 4 Swarovski crystal margaritas
  • Two crystal cube beads about 4 mm in size
  • Two crystal bicones of about 3mm

Step 1: With the head pin as the main base, put the crystal cube at the bottom. Now add the crystal margaritas starting with the biggest size. Add the small ones on top to create a Christmas tree shape. Top your crystal tree with the crystal bicones.

Step 2: Now use the pliers to bend the headpin wire and form a closed loop. After this, start wrapping the tail around the loop, till you reach the top bicones, so the loop and crystal are closely attached.

Step 3: Make sure you cut off the excess wire and there is no edge sticking out of the wire. Attach the ear wire and hook it to the crystal tree. You're very elegant and wearable earrings are ready! They make great gifts too!
