My wife and I are avid fundraisers for causes that we really care about and the Black Dog Institute is a charity that hits close to home for us. The charity supports research towards mental health and wellness as well as mental health initiatives for the community. Having been exposed to depression, both my wife and I really feel strongly about supporting this cause and raising money to further research and support those who suffer from mental health issues.

My wife loves to sew throws her energy into creating hand sewn stuffed toys to sell at markets to raise money for knoble charities. My wife got her local crafy groups together once a week for 6 weeks in the lead up to our local school's fete and they created over 100 stuffed toys and purses to sell at the event. There were 8 women in total who contributed to this amazing achievement and we were please to raise almost $500 for the Black Dog Institute on this occassion.
