Organize Your Beads and Charms
comments (2) May 28th, 2008To keep all of my beading treasures organized I like to use inexpensive embroidery floss organizers with snap-tight lids to store beads and all other small jewelry bits and pieces. The boxes stack neatly and don't take up much room, and the plastic is clear enough to see the colors or shapes through them.
I separate medium and large beads by color. I consolidate beads if I have just a couple of one or another left over, which seems to work well.
I also keep metal charms and vintage bits and pieces in the same style of box, loosely organizing them by type—like miraculous medals, lockets, leaves, and flowers.
And I do the same thing for my seed beads, but I keep them in small plastic bags within the compartments to avoid potential disasters.
