This is my version of a "Barbie" Cake. I made 2 angel food cakes in a typical tube cake pan, stacked them on top of each other with a layer of frosting in between and then inserted a favorite Barbie in the center of the cake where it had been lined with plastic wrap.  The doll was also covered in plastic wrap from the waist down and given an updo so as not to have hair hanging in the cake.  Cake is then iced, decorated and even Barbie is given a bit of matching purple icing decoration in her hair!
