Like so many other crafters, the first craft blog I ever read was Not Martha. Megan Reardon writes engaging, fresh, and diverse daily entries about crafts, cooking, technology, and the home. Dating back to 2001, her archives are nicely organized by date and topic, but I have to say that my favorite section of her Web site is her fantastic "how to make stuff."

Her Ridiculously Easy Wineglass Charms project is a gorgeous and surprisingly simple how-to. Megan walks you through each step with clear photographs and instructions. I love the glossy, colorful beads she chose, but she warns, "Glass beads aren't necessarily the best choice since they make a loud noise when one tips the glass back after the last sip. We found that out the hard way!"
