The Modish November November Giveaway, Part II
comments (1) November 21st, 2008If you didn't get a chance to check it out the first time, here's another chance...part two of Modish's scavenger hunt giveaway has begun. It's bigger and better than last time. At the top of the pile is a peace sign from Tinwings. Each letter spelling out the sentiment of the season (and all year long) is crafted out of a different medium...I love it! There is a 2009 calendar with a unique twist from Happify. (I would check them out just because of their name!) Each month is printed on a 5" x 7" cardstock postcard. When the month is up, jot a quick note on the back and spread happiness around to your friends and relatives. Headbands are hot, and there's a black and white floral one in this collection of handmade goodness...as well as lots of jewelry and prints. Check it out at Modish.com before the deadline, which is December 3 at 11:59 pm. Remember, entering is easy—either post a comment about your favorite handcrafted item or spread the word about this contest on your blog—the choice is yours. Good Luck!

Catie's Blue - The devotion to detail and her ability to choose the perfect color combination in each piece are absolutely gorgeous. Not only does she design pieces that can be worn year round, but, pieces that are versatile as well. I could choose any one of her pieces to wear with a pair of jeans. And, I could also choose that same piece to wear with that "special" outfit. I especially like that Brandi's description of each piece is precise and promoted bead makers when using specialized beads.
I also love Heather Power's shop Humble Beads. That special something she has certainly shines in the "truly unique" style beads that she makes. I like the whimsical side of her talents in bead making too. Her clay beads have really changed my opinion in using them as focal piece rather than the cutesy-use attitude I had before seeing the beautiful color combination, shapes, quality and uses. a favorite piece is the set of Mistletoe earrings.
Thank you all for offering such beautiful jewelry and beads. I have forwarded your websites to a friend who is also getting into making jewelry.
Everyone "Happy Thanksgiving"
