Sweet Silkscreening: Pinecone + Chickadee
June 11th, 2008 in restyle, gifts, paper craftsI love, love, love the cards, notebooks, clothes and tote bags made by Pinecone + Chickadee. I encountered this crafty couple at Philly's Art Star Craft Bazaar a few weekends ago and picked up a few choice hand-screenprinted cards. Bonus: they're printed on recycled cardstock!
Former Brooklynites Amy Teh and Noah Dephillips left the city a few years ago with their son, Darby, and set up house along Maine's coast. They run Pinecone + Chickadee out of their new home's silkscreening studio.
Now you can get in on the fun of their fanciful unicorn, yeti, bird and elephant designs. Their products are available for sale on their site or, better yet, they'll have a booth at this weekend's Renegade Craft Fair in their old stomping grounds, Brooklyn. CraftStylish is going to have a booth too; be sure to stop by and say hi.
