I made this using the pattern from Berroco as a starting point.  I changed the edging a bit and I made roses using the strip method.  It's not covering plates like the one from Berroco, I used styrofoam circles to give it it's shape (10", 8", 6").  So you can use this a a giant pin cushion if you'd like or just decoration.

I'm going to make a chocolate version. Um Yummy
