You know those girls in school who joined all kinds of sports and seemed to enjoy being under the sun for more than five minutes? Well, I wasn't one of those. I spent the first two decades of my life with my nose burried in a book, my hands with scissors, or my mind deliriously lost in la-la land.

But this year, I felt my body start to go to pieces. Five years in a 9-5 job will do that to you, despite finding the love of your life and rekindling your love for sewing. So I got brave enough to sign up for yoga. And because I knew I don't look good when I'm sweating and stretching, I thought I'd come up with a fun yoga bag to help ease my physical fitness situation.

Fast forward four months later. I now love sweating and stretching. This yoga mat bag definitely helps to get me going every morning, after waking up. With that print, who wouldn't be energized?

(I am one of those sport loving girls, but after turning 40 I realized I had to find something slightly more gentle on my bones than trail running...I still roam around out there every now and then, but yoga is definitely becoming my favorite new thing to do.)

I have been kicking around some ideas for a yoga bag myself...thanks for sharing yours! (I love the print.) Does your mat stick to the sides of the bag when you're taking it out or putting it back in???
