Mixing Macrame and Fimo Clay

While my daughter was touring the U.S. during summer vacation with her grandparents I had a lot of time on my hands. 

I took up trying to make macrame plant hangers.  After reading a couple of instruction books on the subject, I bought many roles of the macrame cord.

This is one of my better efforts. The pattern, I made up as I went along and added some roses, made from Fimo Clay.  Some of the roses are variegated in colour while others are plain.
