Ah, at last! The holidays have arrived and for many crafters the dawning of this particular day can feel a bit like finally crossing the finish line. Today, we experience the joy of presenting a beautiful handcrafted gift, and the attendant relief of our great DIY accomplishment. To all of you who dared to make your holiday gifts: a huge CraftStylish salute! You make us DIY proud.

To all of the lucky ones who have received a handmade goodie: enjoy your gift, we can say with confidence that it was made with love. May your present bring you many years of pleasure.

On behalf of everyone in the CraftStylish community, we wish you and yours a very happy, healthy and crafty holiday!

Jen1964 writes: We have been so busy, I haven't had a time to look at much on line. But that's a good thing. Thanks for your encouragement along the way. In our world, Christmas goes clear till Little Christmas. We don't try to make an exhausting marathon out of it: it's a marathon of love shown in as many ways as we can think of. There's the 40 days of advent, to prepare spiritually, and then the flurry of parties and caroling and church events, and the stories told along the way, from people you haven't heard from since last Christmas. The threads that run throughout the whole time are the baking & special cooking, and the knitting, crocheting, and all sorts of crafts that give shape to the family time together.
I guess what I'm saying, fellow crafters, is It wouldn't be Christmas (season) without you.
So as we transition back to life as normal, I hope everyone can take just a little of the Christmas magic with them, and glow with happiness and inspiration for a long time to come!
