My Fav Finds from the Renegade Craft Fair
June 16th, 2008 in other crafts, galleryWe had a blast at Renegade Brooklyn July 14-15, 2008! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the CraftStylish.com booth to say hi!
Here are some of my fav finds from this year's show:
Domestic Construction
My jaw dropped when I saw the tea cup lights from Maureen and Trish at Domestic Construction. So cute! The two Savannah College of Art and Design grads use a creative combo of recycled and new materials to construct unique jewelry, clothing and home goods. www.domestic-construction.com
Designs by Nguyen Le
I love Nguyen's handmade necklaces which use such a unique combination of beads, felted and knitted pieces. You can find these and other beautiful designs on Nguyen Le’s store on Etsy. www.knitknit.etsy.com
Imaginary Friends Inc.
I’m so excited about the pretty notecards I bought from Nick at Imaginary Friends Inc. The cards feature silk-screened endangered flowers and animals from around the world. What is super special about these notecards is the information about the rare bird or flower that is printed on the back of each card. You can purchase the cards individually or as a set from their web site. www.imaginaryfriendsinc.com
BookJournals.com
Jacob from BookJournals.com was probably the biggest hit at Renegade this year. His booth was mobbed by folks checking out his spiral bound journals made from recycled vintage book covers. If you didn’t make it down to Renegade, you can check out his web site which has a huge selection of the unique journals. www.bookjournals.com
I’m totally obsessed with jewelry these days so here are some cool vendors who were selling their original designs:
