Glittery Tote Challenge
July 29th, 2008 in sewing, galleryThe Glitter Glam Tote is an entry for the Glitter category of the tote challenge.
The bag is made of a black velvety plush mystery material from a second-hand store find, and a patterned rayon from a blouse found at the same locale. The flower is a pin so that it can be placed anywhere, to achieve maximal glam. The handles are made of webbing in a tube made of lots of scrunched velvet fabric, which is further adorned by the addition of tastefully placed shiny silver and white beads in a trio of sizes. The interior is made of the blue and white fabric, and includes a white ribbon with a clasp, so you can find those keys or anything else you might attach--a zippered pouch, perhaps?
The description above includes the best reasons this bag should win in its glittery, glamorous category. Doesn't everyone need a tote with a rose?
