Quick and easy decoupage project.. light switch covers! You can pick em up pretty cheap at Home Depot, and with a little practice, wrangling the images and lining everything up becomes a little easier (as with most things and practice, ha!) The biggest problem is not trapping any air bubbles between the paper and the plastic, in yet glue... I have a Speedball rubber brayer (a lil one, the printmaking kind) that I use to kinda squeegee them out-- work from the center out, like rolling a pie crust.

It takes a bit of playing to find the sealant that will work with whichever paper you're using; since the paper I'm using is often 40+ years old I do lots of spot tests on scrap sheets before I coat things down and I really highly reccomend this because the coating can ruin a beautiful project in just moments.

I love these because they're a good use for images that are too big to fit on lots of the things I make, but not big enough to make bracelets out of!

Fiberfads writes: I really like these. I have a room decorated in Outer Bank, NC decor and a little map of Hatteras on the light switch plate would look great. Thanks for hte idea.
