This lush number by Nicky Epstein is available for free via Lion Brand. It looks bulky enough to keep you warm, but either way youll be looking hot.
This Cassia Scarf by Kittyboo Crochet is a lovely lacy option that will carry you through to spring.
And if you live somewhere where winter has come and gone, how about a scarf/necklace hybrid? Find this dainty number right here at Creative Yarn.

Last week when I returned from the glorious, 75-degree Texas winter, my boyfriend mentioned that winter was almost over here. "Don't kid yourself," I thought (we live in Montana, after all), but secretly I hoped he was right. Although we've been experiencing some milder days, today the snow began pouring down again. I've been saving up some pretty crocheted scarf patterns, so what better day to share them? Here are three favorites I've spotted on the web recently—and some are essentially decorative, for those of you blessed with warmer weather. Click on the photos for links and descriptions.

LindaPermann writes: yes, you can learn! i highly suggest taking a class-- it is so much easier to learn from a person (at least to get the basics down). just remember that it's a skill that requires practice--anyone can do it!
