If you've ever had your french knots slip through your fabric, or if you're frustrated that they either look too loose or too tight, check out this quick and simple French Knot Tutorial Video by Kristin Nicholas (click the video link to go to her site and watch). She takes you right through the basics of this stitch-- which, once you watch it, is actually quite simple, and the video is not bogged down with other ramblings-- she gets right to the point-- I like that! There are some things that are just easier to explain in person, or in this case- via video. I also never thought about adding french knots to crocheted flowers before I saw this... now to go make some to embroider!
