As I've always said, sewing is a lonely sport. In fact, until I became a sewing editor, I spent all my sewing time alone, never dreaming that there was a readymade online community of experienced sewers to give sage advice, tips and pointers. Anytime day or night, if you have a burning sewing question, you can post it on the Gatherings forum and be guaranteed a sympathetic and helpful response, from Australia to the U.K. (and of course, the U.S.). Threads-reading sewers from across the globe gather to share their collective wisdom, and it's a substantial body of knowledge. Of course, I'm a little biased, since I'm the editor of Threads magazine, but, trust me, you'll get the best sewing advice and mentoring ever here.
