Fire up Your Crafting Passion: July on Craftstylish
comments (1) June 29th, 2008If you are reading this, we bet that you are as passionate about crafting as we are. Where else but within a crafting community would anyone understand how a heart can set to racing at the sight of a gorgeous skein of yarn, the dizzying tactile experience of touching a buttery silk, or the reverent sense of wonder when discovering a glorious handmade creation? That is exactly why this month's theme on Craftstylish is Crafting Passion. We want to know what craft makes you go weak in the knees, pull an all-nighter, or go to any lengths to master?
Not only do we want to know, we want you to show us. Introducing the very first Craftstylish Challenge: The Tote-ally Crafty Bag. Contestants will be challenged to make a fabulous tote bag in any style or employing the talents of any craft. We are all very psyched and while we are still bustling around getting all of the details in order we can tell you that the hardest part of this challenge is going to be deciding which one of the four categories you'll want to enter. We can also tell you that there will be a winner in each category and those four lucky winners will be awarded an official Craftstylish tote bag filled to the brim with fantastic crafting goodies, including a few choice titles from the Taunton Craft book library, some hot product must-haves, and gorgeous materials to titillate your crafty hearts. The challenge is set to launch on July 14th and we will keep you posted with the details.
