Though crafter Erin is a native Kansan, she's lived "across the pond" in England for many years and I think the English are rubbing off on her. Her line of Erin Originals accessories have the quirky sense of humor the Brits are loved for.

Her line includes tote bags, belts, wallets, brooches and small cases made of, or decorated with, tape measures. Many of her other limited-edition series of items are crafted of recycled and repurposed materials, such as metal zippers. All the items can be purchased on her site.

The pouches and wallets are great would make a creative gift for any crafter, carpenter or friend who is regularly measuring things. The tape measure "flower corsage" brooches are pure whimsy and would look great pinned to a Peter Pan collar on or the handle of a bag.
