I made this messenger bag for my friend Christina. They were her favorite jeans that had worn out. The flap lining is one of her finance's old silk ties.

jkundhi writes: What kind of needle are you using in your machine? I've found that using a heavy duty needle helps. There are ones specifically for denim. It also helps to change it out after a particularly dulling project. Hope this helps!
