Rock Garden Candle Holder
March 30th, 2009 in other crafts, restyle, gifts, home decorating, galleryMade with an empty elastic spool, upholstery sample, baling twine, leftover artificial leaves, flowers and decorative twigs, a medicine cup, stones and scrap foldover elastic. I used a glue gun for assembling. The rocks not only are for decoration but also for weight on the bottom portion for stability. I also used the back side of the upholstery sample on the bottom as it has non-slip characteristics. Foldover elastic was wrapped barber pole style around center column, platform edges decorated with twisted baling twine, medicine cup filled with dirt and then artificial leaves, flowers and stones added.
