Hi, stylish crafters!

I just wanted to let y'all know that I'll be in New York City next week teaching four (one-session each) classes at all of my old Brooklyn haunts, in case you or a friend might be interested. Don't you want to make something? Please forward to any crafty folks you know, and thanks!

Thursday, April 16th
Embroidery workshop
at TREEHOUSE (Williamsburgh) 6:30–8:30pm, $50 includes all supplies

Friday, April 17th
Intro to patternmaking: A-line skirt workshop
at BROOKLYN GENERAL (Carroll Gardens) 6:30–8:30pm, $50

Sunday, April 19th
Intermediate sewing: tunic/dress workshop
at the studio of LENA CORWIN (Fort Greene) 11am–4pm, $125

Intro to patternmaking: T-shirt workshop at HOME EC (Park Slope/Gowanus) 5:30–8pm, $50

For more information and supplies required, see my blog and/or the sites for each venue. All of these great independent spaces have other cool classes too, so check out their schedules and get on their lists! Please help spread the word and support indie artisans. Gertie and I hope to see you in class...
