I'm going to the 22nd Annual New England Arts & Craft Festival next weekend, so maybe I'll see you there! There'll be lots of local artists, crafters, and performers to entertain and inspire everyone, plus lots of fun for all! I'm particulary interested in the Chalk of Fame Competition on July 5th. Regional sidewalk artists will be coming to draw all over their 58-inch x 58-inch square of sidewalk. Red, white, and blue chalk will be provided for the tiny $5 entry fee, but everyone is encouraged to bring their own pastels and other cool colors. If you're a crafty sidewalk artist, you can register the day of the event. I went a few years ago, and I got the coolest wind chime made from silver spoons...it still looks great and tinkles every time the wind blows! Check it out if you have the chance.

VictoriaNorth writes: The chalk competition looks like fun. Too bad I will still be in New Jersey on Saturday. Maybe I will be back early enough on Sunday to go to the festival though. Thanks for the tip Jen!
