How to Make a "Bloomin' Box" for Spring

When all six components are assembled, your model will look like this. You're almost done except for one final maneuver that turns this simple box into something unexpectedly beautiful. |

Using the thumb and forefinger of one hand, gather together and pinch all of the flaps visible on the flat faces of your cube. |

Do this to all six sides (the paper flaps will quite naturally want to stay in the pinched position). |

The result is a part box, part leafy petals, and part paper jewel. |

Seen from a different angle, your box might be mistaken as a paper rose of sorts. |
After you make this project, show off your work to other members!

I recently posted an entry on my blog with a link to this tutorial.
I'd appreciate your letting me know if that's OK.
Thanks,
