Just starting back at sewing after a long hiatus (just bought a sewing machine too!) And this would be perfect restarter project book to do alone or with Grandaughters or even be project friendly enough with the grown kids as well.
I love yard shopping & vintage store shopping (thirft store) and always see pretty cases & never knew what I could use THAT for.

anndees writes: I have many pillowcases from MY great-grandmother (I am a great-grandmother myself) and would love to be able to make usable items from these cases. My granddaughter is 6 and is very girly and loves to wear frilly decorated dresses and tops. This sounds right up her alley and a great way to use these old pillowcases that are taking up space but I would never part with otherwise.

Whenever my kids grew out of a favorite set of sheets, they went on to become tents in the living room, beach blankets, & paint drop cloths. But I always saved the pillowcases.
