Upcycled Analog Clocks
comments (0) April 13th, 2009 in galleryI saved these clocks from the junkpile by giving them facelifts and turning them into functional art objects. Two are little travel alarms, the right size for a small art shot on your desk, and the big one is an old bunged-up wooden Eddie Bauer mantle clock. I painted the surface with non-toxic materials and as with the travel alarms, used paper, pen and ink to give the clock a new face and new life. All three still keep perfect time, (the alarms even work!).
