There is no reason to let little excuses like, "I don't know how" keep you from participating in our upcoming Tote-ally Crafty Bag challenge, especially when there are so many great resources in the real and virtual worlds to help you to come out a winner. Take, for example, this awesome 'make a tote bag' class taught by former Urban Outfitters designer Cal Patch over at Etsy labs in Brooklyn. In this three-week class, Cal will show you how to make a lining, straps, pockets, and basic construction technique. Class size is limited, so if you can take advantage of this awesome opportunity, get cracking.

Can't make the class? Live in Anchorage? No problem. I am going to make it my mission to provide all kinds of opportunities for everyone and their best friend to get involved in the first Craftstylish challenge. So keep an eye out for more classes, online tutorials, and excellent bag pattern ideas. Learn something new, it is, after all, called a challenge.
