Mandala Sand Art
comments (0) April 16th, 2009 in galleryA Mandala table top I made for the garden.
A Mandala is created my making various intricate pattern outlines, and filling them with different colors of sand.I first outlined mine with chalk, then I went over the white lines with white sand, and filled in the outlines with black sand. I chose to do mine in black and white sand, because it matches the lawn furniture. The practice of Mandala sand art originated from the Tibetan Monks.
