Tools I use: electric chainsaws, chisels, heat guns, torches, and water.

I am waiter by day, and on weekends I do ice sculpting for our restaurant, and local area hotels.

In the first photo, I did this Fantasy Sea Horse ice sculpting for our Sunday Buffet we offer at our restaurant.

In the second photo, I did this grand Swan sculpture for an event at a nearby hotel.

In the third photo, I did  the dual hearts for a wedding held at another hotel.

And in the fourth photo, I did the actors masks for a party at our restaurant.

Finally, in the last photo, it shows me doing one of my ice carvings......brrrrr!!

I start off with a giant block of ice, and then it's carving time.

Each of these can take about one hr. to complete, depending on size, and complexity of the design, it can be less or more than that. And, because it's sunny where I live, I have to get up real early and sometimes carve way ahead of the event, especially for our Sunday buffet so that the weather can cooperate, and not start melting everything right away. That way I can store the sculpture in our walk in fridge, and 10 minutes before taking it out of the fridge, I water down the sculpture, and wheel it in for it's debut.
