Eco-Punk Style
comments (4) April 17th, 2009 in galleryAs a small fashion designer I'm always coming up with new and creative ideas. I was at my local craft store when I saw a pattern for a magazine picture corset. I thought it was a great idea so I made one, however the pictures of it don't show how difficult it was to make. I actually had to alter the pattern a great deal to make it work. In the end I decided it was easier to make magazine picture purses, instead of the corset.
This style is so cute but also eco-friendly. My friend Ana in the picture, actually punked up the style.
For this design I was inspired by Earth day (to discover new ways to recycle) and the punk fashion. Usually my designs have more of a retro look, but this was an "out-of-the-box" type of creation.
