This is a great project to do with kids, especially now that summer vacation has started, and the list of materials is short and sweet. It works both indoors and outside, but we suggest doing it outside to save you from kids dying that brand-new living room carpet! Thanks to Suse from the Pea Soup blog who wrote up this free tutorial. I posted some photos to give you an idea, but for the full project you can find Suse's project here. If you don't feel up to the task of dying your own, you can stop by her Etsy shop and buy a skein or two!
