I was inspired by this post to create my own pattern for a sandwich mat. I used the tutorial's idea about PUL and ordered this print. (I have since gone back and ordered more colors and designs to make a bunch of these mats!) I wanted a very simple, easy to sew mat so I designed a flat, octagonal pattern based off of other sandwich mats that I saw on the internet.
