Polgara's Mask- Earth
comments (0) April 20th, 2009 in galleryPolgara's Mask started with the eye piece, a gnarled tree root in the form of a figure eight and the handle of the mask both found on a nature walk. The pheasant feathers are from an old hat, the metal tassel from a woven sewing basket, the velvet ribbon and the glass milinary trim leftovers; all given to me from various friends. I made the ribbon worked flowers and leaves from French wire ribbon and silk bias ribbon. The tassel is made from novelty yarns.
