An Evening version of sundress, corsett style, and curve flattering.  Extra panels for fullness and drama. My version of simplicity sew stylish #2657.  I put a zipper in the side to give the illusion of a corsett that ties in the front.  I added elastic in the top to keep it close to the body.  The fabric gave me my inspiration for the dress.  My friend was nice enough to allow me to make it for her and model it for me.  I think i should win because i have created a beautiful dress with my own flair starting with the simplicity sew stylish pattern#2657.

sissym writes: i think this dress should of been one of the finalist to choose from. is very versatile and can be worn for a special occassion with the right kind of material or can be made of a more everyday kind of material to wear while out an about. love this dress and it looks great on the model as well... i hope you share more of your designs an sewing talents soon!!
