How to Make Mollie Flowers
comments (15) May 15th, 2009If you have a love for the teeny tiny, you'll enjoy this pretty Mollie Flower tutorial created by Roman Sock. Each one is made up of a simple combination of puff and single crochet stitches, and sewn together they create a lovely and intricate fabric. They work up quickly (she made about 50 flowers in a night), so even though making a fabric from these (to create a bag, coaster, etc.) looks time consuming, they'll add up fast. I think these would be great items to make on-the-go since you don't need to concentrate on the pattern, and they're a lovely way to use up the bits and pieces left over from your other projects. I can see them decorating hair clips, shoes, rings, and more.
