This is a quilted tote bag that I made to use as my diaper bag when my son was born last year. It won LivingCreatively.com's tote bag design competition! I love this bag so much, I will probably continue toting it around long after my son is out of diapers!

We are in the process of making baby quilts and I would love to make your diaper bag for new moms who are underprivileged. I do hope that you will have a pattern available to use. The one here is perfect for us to make. You have done a lovely job on it.

I am currently designing a new diaper bag that I hope to have a pattern available for! You can see sketches for the possible designs on my blog! The closure I used is a magnetic clasp on the inside of the bag. I added lots of inner pockets for baby neccessities!

LeighAnnTennant writes: Making totes is alot of fun, but sometimes very time consuming! Every part of this tote is quilted and that involved alot of time and effort. If you're just starting out making totes, I'd work with a pattern at first. Amy Butler has some really fun, simple tote patterns. Once you've made a few and you get the basics down, you can start designing and creating your own patterns!
